St. Louis County Community Heroes Day
Join the American Red Cross and the Missouri-Illinois Blood Services Region on Saturday, July 26, 2008 for a very special event for the whole family. Team up with your St. Louis area neighbors to take three steps to become a Hero: Donate Blood, Learn CPR and Prepare for Emergencies.
The next Community Heroes Day will take place at the South County Health Center, 4580 S. Lindbergh Blvd., at the following times on Saturday, July 26:
- Donate Blood from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Learn CPR from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Prepare for Disasters from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Take advantage of this special opportunity to learn American Red Cross certified CPR at the reduced price of $10 per person - a $46 value!
While you donate blood, your children can learn to prepare for emergencies such as fires and severe weather through games and activities. Parents must be available to pick up their children at the end of the presentation. Adult Q&A session will be open from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Training is free and no registration is required.
